The Champagne vineyard 51100 Reims fr

The beauty of the hillsides, the hospitality of the wine growers and the taste of the wines are ready to give up their secrets in Champagne.

Walk among the vines, take in the fragances. Visit the wine growers, listen to them: they will talk to you about wine, wine presses, the exhilaration of the grape harvest, and sometimes the secret of the liqueurs. Champagne!

  • The route Massif de Saint-Thierry is parting from Reims, and on your way you can admire the beautiful castles in Champagne and enjoy the mesmerizing view in Trigny, a village full of flowers surrounded by ramparts.
  • The route Montagne de Reims connects Reims with Epernay, and here you can stop at the lighthouse Verzenay that watches over the vast vineyards, which also houses a wine museum.
  • From Epernay with its famous Avenue de Champagne you can take the boat "Champagne Vallée" in Cumieres to see the vineyards in the Marne Valley from the water.
  • Farther south you will find Route Côte des Blancs, where you can admire a beautiful view of the vineyards from Mont Aimé and visit the charming village of Oger.
  • In the department of Aube and after a stop in Bar-sur-Seine with half-timbered houses you will go to Essoyes where the impressionist painter Auguste Renoir lived a few years, and where you can visit one of the 28 wine cellars on the route Côte des Bar.
